Settings
A short page with four controls and a Save button.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Wallet Currency | What your points are called. Type "Coins" here and customers see "Coins Balance", "Earn Coins", "You've earned 50 Coins". |
| Active | The master on/off switch for the entire loyalty program. |
| Can use points | Whether customers can spend their points. |
| Can use rewards | Whether the rewards features are available to customers. |
Nothing takes effect until you press Save — you'll see a "Settings Updated" toast.
Naming your points
The Wallet Currency name shows up everywhere the customer looks, so it's worth a minute's thought:
- Keep it short — it appears inside headings like "Earn Coins" and "Spend Coins".
- Use the plural form. The app builds sentences like "Earn 250 more coins to reach Gold."
- Match your brand. Coffee shops use Beans, beauty brands use Glow, gaming brands use XP.
You can change it later; existing balances aren't affected, only the wording.
Turning the program off
Switching Active off is the clean way to pause everything — during a migration, a rebrand, or while you rework your tiers. Points balances are kept; customers just stop earning and spending until you switch it back on.
Known issue with "Can use points"
In the current build, the Can use points switch doesn't save correctly — the value it writes goes to the wrong field. Avoid relying on it, and contact support if you need points spending turned off. See Things to watch out for.
