Categories & Subcategories

Before creating products, you need to set up your product taxonomy.

Creating Categories

Navigate to: Admin Portal > Products > Categories

Steps:

1. Click Add Category

2. Fill in details:

   • Name: Flower
   • Slug: flower
   • Description: Premium cannabis flower products
   • Display Order: 1
   • Status: Active

3. Upload category image (optional)

4. Set category-specific attributes

5. Click Save

Creating Subcategories

Example Hierarchy:

Flower (Category)
├── Indica (Subcategory)
├── Sativa (Subcategory)
├── Hybrid (Subcategory)
└── CBD (Subcategory)

Concentrates (Category)
├── Wax (Subcategory)
├── Shatter (Subcategory)
├── Live Resin (Subcategory)
└── Distillate (Subcategory)

Edibles (Category)
├── Gummies (Subcategory)
├── Chocolates (Subcategory)
├── Beverages (Subcategory)
└── Baked Goods (Subcategory)

To Create Subcategory:

1. Select parent category
2. Click Add Subcategory
3. Fill in details similar to category
4. Click Save
