What you can do with it
Write a review
Reviews are submitted against a product. Depending on the store, a review can carry a written comment, a star rating, and images.
Rate more than one thing
Beyond a single overall score, stores can define review metrics — named aspects rated separately. Which metrics a product uses is set per store and per product, so the questions asked on one product need not match another.
This is what lets a product read as strong on one quality and weak on another instead of collapsing to a single number.
Edit what you wrote
Reviews already submitted can be updated, so a shopper who changes their mind is not stuck with their first impression.
Mark a review helpful
Reviews can be marked helpful or unhelpful by other shoppers, which is how the useful ones surface.
Find your reviews
The account area lists reviews the shopper has written.
Who can review
Stores can check whether a shopper has already reviewed a product, so a person does not stack several reviews on one item. Where a store restricts reviewing to verified purchasers, that is a brand setting rather than a Batch-wide rule.
