Keep the messages you need
Some messages are not marketing and are not optional in practice — order confirmations, payment outcomes, one-time sign-in codes and transfer requests all arrive this way.
Sign-in codes and transfer approvals arrive as messages
A shopper who blocks messages entirely can lock themselves out of code-based sign-in, and can miss a collectible transfer waiting on their approval.
Add a pass to your phone
Where a brand enables it, loyalty can be carried as a pass in a phone's wallet app, updating as the shopper's standing changes. This is a phone wallet pass and has nothing to do with crypto wallets — see Wallets and NFT prizes for that separate feature.
Subscribe to updates
Stores can offer a subscription for news and offers, separate from transactional messages about orders.
