Finding a Store
Batch stores are tied to physical locations. Which one is serving a shopper decides what they can buy, so finding the right one is not a side feature.
What you can do with it
Find the nearest location
Stores can locate the nearest place automatically, or let a shopper search by postcode or address.
Browse all locations
Where a brand runs several, they can be listed with their details — the dispensary or store directory.
See them on a map
Locations can be shown on a map rather than only as a list.
Switch location
A shopper can change which location is serving them. This changes the catalogue and availability with it.
Why the location matters so much
Three things follow from it:
- What is in stock. Catalogues are per location.
- Whether delivery reaches you. Delivery works within a radius of the location.
- What checkout looks like. Pickup and delivery build different checkouts.
The first thing to check when something looks wrong
An item that will not appear, or an address that will not be accepted, is far more often a location problem than a fault. Switching location resolves a good share of both.
