Finding Products
A Batch store offers several ways in. Which of them appear depends on what the brand has enabled, but the routes below are the standard set.
Browsing
By category — the conventional aisle. Categories are set per store, so they match how that brand thinks about its range.
By brand — where a store carries more than one brand, or a parent brand has sub-brands, each gets its own page pulling together everything under it.
By tag — a cross-cutting label that ignores category boundaries. Tags gather things a category cannot: a seasonal promotion, a theme, a curated set.
By strain — for cannabis retail, strains are a first-class way to navigate. Each strain has its own page, and from it you can see the products available in that strain.
Searching
The search box queries the catalogue as you type and is the fastest route when the shopper already knows roughly what they want.
Search results can be narrowed with filters and reordered by sort options. The filters available depend on the store's catalogue — there is no fixed universal set.
Why results change
This surprises people, so it is worth stating plainly: the catalogue depends on the fulfilling location. Products, availability and prices are tied to the store, dispensary or warehouse serving the order.
Change the location — or let the site pick a different nearest one — and results change with it. A product that is unavailable is often available from another location rather than genuinely out of stock.
