Orders and Receipts
What you can do with it
See your orders
Order history lists past orders, and each has its own page with the detail of what was bought and what happened to it.
Cancel an order
Orders can be cancelled, subject to how far along they are. Once an order is being prepared or has left the store, cancellation is no longer the right route — a dispute is.
Raise a dispute
Where something went wrong with an order that cannot be cancelled, a dispute can be raised against it from the order.
Upload a receipt
This one is easy to misread. Receipt upload is not about getting a copy of what you bought online — an online order already has its own record.
It is for purchases made elsewhere, typically in a physical store. A shopper photographs the receipt, uploads it, and the brand can credit loyalty points for a purchase that never went through the online store.
Guests have no history
Guest orders complete successfully but have no account to be listed against, so there is no order history to return to later. Confirmation details sent at the time are the only record the shopper keeps.
This is the most concrete argument for registering before buying.
