Product Pages

The product page is where the decision gets made. It carries the imagery, the detail, the reviews and the buying controls.

What you can do here

See what you are buying

Product images support a carousel, zoom and full-screen viewing, so detail can be inspected properly rather than squinted at.

Choose quantity and options

Quantity is set on the page before adding to the cart. Where a product comes in variants or configurable options, those are chosen here too — the cart takes what the page was set to.

Read what other customers thought

Reviews appear on the product page with star ratings. Beyond a single overall score, stores can define review metrics — named aspects rated separately, so a product can score differently on different qualities. Which metrics exist is set per store and per product.

Reviews can also be marked helpful or unhelpful by other shoppers, which is what lets the useful ones rise.

Product pages can surface related items and recommendations, and for cannabis retail, the strain a product belongs to — which leads to everything else in that strain.

Save it for later

Where a store enables the wishlist, a product can be saved without buying.

Availability

A product page reflects the location fulfilling the order. If something shows as unavailable, it is worth checking another location before concluding it is out of stock everywhere — availability is per location, not global.
