Collectibles
A collectible is a digital item a shopper holds in their account. Brands use them as proof of something — a purchase, a visit, taking part in a campaign — and as a key that unlocks something else.
What you can do with it
Browse what exists
Stores can list collectibles, group them by category, and highlight trending ones.
See what you hold
The account area lists the shopper's own collectibles, and each has its own page.
Use one
Collectibles can be redeemed, and can make a shopper eligible for things they would not otherwise get — a campaign, a reward, or a discount the brand has tied to holding it.
Follow it into a campaign
Where a collectible is tied to a campaign, the shopper can go from the collectible to the campaign it belongs to. See Campaigns.
Transfer one to someone else
Collectibles can change hands. See Transferring ownership.
What a collectible is not
Batch collectibles are records held in a shopper's account. There is no chain behind them, nothing is minted, no crypto wallet is involved, and there are no rarity tiers or a trading market. Transfers move a record between accounts, through the store, with the recipient's agreement.
A separate, optional wallet feature exists
Some brands run a blockchain wallet section on their store, which displays NFTs a shopper holds externally and can award prizes from them. That is a distinct, per-brand feature and is not what "collectible" means here — the two should not be conflated. See Wallets and NFT prizes.
